Natural Mindfulness Walks bring you both the benefits of being outside, and of mindfulness. They encourage a closer connection to nature, which brings its own special benefits you can read about here.
These monthly walks will be guided Helen from Make it Wild. As well as being a medical doctor, Helen is a qualified Natural Mindfulness Guide. The walks will take place at our private nature reserve, Sylvan Nature Reserve, near Kirk Hammerton. In the future, we hope to be able to guide walks at Bank Woods, near Summerbridge, a few miles from Harrogate.
We will spend approximately two hours walking calmly and slowly through our young woodlands, on the river bank surrounding them, and in the wildflower filled woodland clearings. There will be stops for guided mindfulness experiences at intervals. There will also be time for sharing and discussion – but only if you wish.

How to book
Simply pick from the drop down menu above which dates you would like to come on the walk, and proceed to checkout. You can save £2 by booking for all three walks.
You will then be sent, by return, confirmation of your order. You do not need to print this. We will be in touch nearer to the date of the walk with detailed directions, and advice on what to wear and what to bring.
