Our dedication stones are perfect if you would like a permanent feature to show your words of dedication, next to your Memorial Tree or Dedicated Tree.
We make these to order, from specially selected boulders found on our own land at Bank Woods. There are many stones, rocks and boulders here. Some will have been quarried and shaped by hand, over a hundred years ago, and others will be natural rocks found in the woodland. They are formed from the same geological feature which created Brimham Rocks, just over the hill.
These stones will vary in shape and size, and will have a very natural look, in keeping with our approach at Make it Wild. We will source your stone and have it engraved with a dedication of your choice. We will use a simple font, as shown in the photo, as we have discovered this works best with our natural stones.
Once the stone is ready, we will place it safely next to your tree. When this is done, we will send you a photograph via email. You may be able to visit to see the stone next to your tree. This depends on the site where your stone will be placed, as detailed here.
You have two options:
Dedication Stone £295
This would work well for a simple dedication, such as name and dates.
This stone will typically be rectangular, with a length of approximately 30-35cm.
It will be engraved by a local stone mason, with the letters in relief. It can be engraved with a maximum of 35 characters.
Larger Dedication Stone £495
This would work well if you would like a longer dedication message.
This stone may be rectangular, or triangular or an irregular shape. Its longest dimension will be approximately 40-50cm.
It will be engraved by a local stone mason, with the letters in relief. It can be engraved with a maximum of 75 characters.
