In March 2025 we completed on the purchase of a beautiful site of 79 acres, adjoining Brimham Rocks. This site is under the joint ownership of Make it Wild and Foundation IT.
We are delighted to become custodians of this lovely area, which includes ancient woodland, a stream, and grassland.
Habitat, bird and invertebrate surveys were completed in 2025. Following this important phase of information gathering, we have made our plans for the best way to support nature in this gorgeous spot.
We will be planting thousands of native trees in early 2026, to creeate biodiverse woodland. We will also look after the ancient woodland, and develop some wetland habitat.
