A uniquely wild venue for your meeting.
Our unique meeting venues are set in private grounds of 110 acres, which is a designated Site of Importance for Nature Conservation. It includes our ‘flag ship’ re-wilding project with native breed cattle and ponies, ancient woodlands, recently planted woodlands, wildflower meadows, wildlife ponds and babbling brooks.
For Make it Wild, nature comes first, and you will be immersed in nature from the moment you arrive.
The location is Bank Woods Barn, Summerbridge HG3 4JR.
Choose from the following spaces:
Upstairs at our new off grid purpose built barn – Our stunning multi-purpose first floor studio space with vaulted ceiling, balcony, Juliet balcony and fabulous views up the valley.
Here you can hold a meeting with up to 36 delegates, seated cabaret style. We have data projector and Wi-Fi.
Curlew is a very flexible space, and is also ideal for art and craft workshops, training, meditation, sound baths, yoga – the only limit is your imagination!
Also in our off grid barn – for a smaller group session, our ground floor meeting room is perfect. It has a log burning stove, separate outside access and Wi-Fi.
There is data projection (portable) on request. Lapwing comfortably accommodates 6 – 10 people depending on seating arrangements.
A stone’s throw from the barn, you can find our traditional wooden shepherds’ hut – with log burning stove, electricity, mains water and sink. With its large sofa and two ‘easy’ chairs, Chaffinch is ideal for one-to-one discussions, or as a breakout space for small groups of up to 5.
We have 20 acres of ancient woodland, three 3 log bench circles with fire pits, one in a very magical woodland clearing.
Hire of these spaces includes the use of the composting loo.

We had a great day at Bank Woods starting with a board meeting in Make it Wild’s Off-grid barn and ending with an afternoon of tree planting. The facilities are fantastic making this the perfect place to hold a Corporate event.
The Make it Wild team really looked after us and it was both inspiring and informative to hear about the work they are doing. It was great to get our hands dirty planting trees and we will definitely be back next year to check on progress and plant a few more.
