Helen has four presentations ready for you to choose from. But please ask if you have specific requirements, as talks can be adapted.

Scalpel to Spade and Beyond – which tells the story of her remarkable career, from being one of very few female trainee surgeons, to becoming a consultant, and then holding national roles with healthcare regulators. Helen and her husband Chris then realised Nature was in trouble … Helen will explain what they did and how her life changed!

Encouraging Nature into Your Garden – Helen will guide your group through ten simple actions, that you can take, to help Nature.

Why Nature helps our Health – Helen will explain, in simple terms, some of the science behind the health benefits of being in Nature.

How we “Make it Wild” – A personal story of rewilding of the land. Helen will talk about the many lessons learnt – from large herbivores to wild flowers and tree planting and everything in between.

Christopher

Chris has given many talks as a business leader, and with Make it Wild, in particular to our corporate partners.

In his talk Seeing is Believing he describes his early career, setting up Ultralase, the very first laser eye treatment clinic in the UK, and ultimately another pioneering business, Make it Wild.

Chris will explain the importance of Building Sustainability into your Business in his other talk, which is ideal for businesses. He’ll guide you from the theory to practical steps you can take.
