Have you ever wondered about a more natural way of caring for yourself?
Many of the wild plants that grow around us, and at Bank Woods in particular, are nutritious and therapeutic. The skills and knowledge that were familiar to our ancestors have been lost in the mists of time. Helen can bring these back to life! Combining this with her research-based scientific knowledge, and experience of teaching, Helen will be running a series of workshops for Make it Wild. Read more about Helen here.
The workshops will take place at Bank Woods, Summerbridge. For directions, please click here.
Join us on a herbal adventure in the beautiful setting of Make it Wild’s Bank Woods! Discover how to forage in an environmentally conscious way, making use of our local plants in food and medicine while holding care for nature at the centre of all our experiences.
Tapping into the harvest of the year, our three workshops will run on on 7th August, 4th September and 2nd October 2020 to help you connect to your local natural world with creativity and respect. These can be taken as stand-alone workshops or together as a short course in foraging and medicine making. No previous experience required – all materials provided, or you will be guided in foraging for them. Just bring curiosity, enthusiasm and suitable clothing!
Each workshop costs £30, payable in advance.
