Our Wellness Retreats are hosted by Where the Mind Grows at our beautiful Heather Lea eco-friendly holiday cottage, in Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Over three days and two nights, you will be supported to make the changes needed to improve your well-being and resilience. JK from Where the Mind Grows will be the lead facilitator.
These retreats are for leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs. You are courageous and busy and have high aspirations. You want to be bold and brave and creative.
… if you need some time out from the day-job to clear your mind
… if you are seeking relaxation, reflection and self care
… if you want to reconnect with your true self via closer connection with nature
… if you are looking for a safe and supportive space to gain new perspectives
… if ‘me-time’ always falls to the bottom of your list
During our Wellness Retreat you will experience
You may be a group from the same organisation, or a group of friends interested in exploring and enhancing your well-being in a safe and supportive environment, guided by an experienced coach and facilitator.
Our ecofriendly Holiday Cottage, Heather Lea, nestles in our woodland nature reserve, within Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Beauty, North Yorkshire. We are situated within easy reach of Leeds, Bradford, York, and Harrogate.
You will enjoy exclusive private access to our 150 acres, Bank Woods and Dowgill Grange which includes wild-flower filled hay meadows, stunning ancient woodland, upland meadows and recently planted woodland.
Your accommodation in Heather Lea will be single occupancy of double or twin rooms. One room has an ensuite shower room, the other three rooms share a further bathroom and shower room.
The retreats are designed to be suitable for up to four individuals who may already work together, or who may never have met. A group of up to eight can be accommodated, if you are friends or family and would be happy to share a room.
There is a large well equipped kitchen, with dining table, and also an outside table for al fresco dining. Vegetarian or vegan catering is included as part of the retreat, so that you can focus on your self rather than cooking.
The detailed programme of our retreats can be tailored to your requirements.
