These retreats are hosted by Where the Mind Grows at our beautiful Heather Lea eco-friendly Holiday Cottage. They are designed to be suitable for up to four individuals who may already work together, or who may never have met. Over two nights, and one and half days you will be supported to make the changes needed to improve your well-being and resilience. They will be facilitated by JK from Where the Mind Grows.
Our retreats are particularly designed for leaders – We appreciate that being a leader brings challenges. When you began your role you probably had visions of being profound and inspiring … now you may instead find yourself plate-spinning and struggling to feel like you are making a meaningful impact.
You may fear you are on the edge of burn out. You may want to take action before your stress and anxiety further impact on your well-being … and that is a brave & powerful decision to make!

You may be a group of leaders from the same organisation, or a group of peers interested in exploring and enhancing your well-being in a safe and supportive environment, guided by an experienced coach and facilitator.
Our ecofriendly Holiday Cottage, Heather Lea, nestles in our woodland nature reserve, within Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Beauty, North Yorkshire. We are situated within easy reach of Leeds, Bradford, York, and Harrogate.
Your accommodation in Heather Lea will be single occupancy of double or twin rooms. One room has an ensuite shower room, the other three rooms share a further bathroom and shower room.
There is a large well equipped kitchen, with dining table, and also an outside table for al fresco dining. Vegan catering can be included as part of the retreat, so that you can focus on your self rather than cooking.
Heather Lea can comfortably accommodate a group of four attendees. This retreat is also available for smaller groups – please get in touch to discuss this.
