Description
Are you looking for a way to help nature?
Come and experience our ancient woodlands, new woodlands and rewilding project at Summerbridge, by joining one of our free tours.
The session will be hosted by our award-winning co-founders, Helen and Christopher Neave, pioneers in the field of biodiversity recovery in Yorkshire.
You will have a unique opportunity to hear why they started Make it Wild, how the organisation is growing, and how they can help you and your business.
We will take you on a guided tour, showing you a variety of features, and explaining their importance to biodiversity. Depending on the weather and the time of year, this is likely to include:
- ancient woodland with many woodland birds and a magical clearing
- wildlife pond, where we may see dragonflies
- young woodland, where hares are often seen
- birds of prey overhead
- species rich meadows with numerous native wildflowers
- rewilding area with Belted Galloway cattle and Exmoor ponies
- natural regeneration of woodland
