Dedicate a Duet of Trees for a Wedding Anniversary
Looking for an unusual anniversary present? How about our Duet of Trees, which will last forever as a symbol of two joined together in love?
This Duet of Trees, unique to Make it Wild, will grow into a significant natural feature. It makes a perfect, thoughtful gift for a wedding anniversary. Read more about Tree Dedications here.
We will place a plaque with your own chosen wording near to the trees, and this Duet of Trees will form a feature at Bank Woods for many years to come. The lucky couple are sure to be thrilled with this most unusual anniversary present.
This ‘plant a tree’ gift dedication includes two trees which we will plant close together, each with a stake and protective tree tube. This is a tried and tested method to support insects and birds. The smaller, faster growing trees provide flowers, berries and seeds, surrounding the taller ‘forest’ tree as it grows.
We think a crab apple, known as the ‘Tree of Love’ would be perfect, along with Aspen, which symbolizes prosperity and endurance. These two trees are in the pictures for this dedication. But there are many combinations of trees which would be equally lovely. Please contact us via our ‘Contact’ page if you have any particular British native trees in mind and we will do our best to help!
When we receive your order, we will email you with a draft of the Dedication Certificate for you to approve the wording, similarly we will ask you for the wording you wish to have on the plaque. And finally we will email a detailed map showing the location of the tree.
Included in this dedication:
Two young trees planted together at Bank Woods near Summerbridge, in Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty
Stakes and tree-tubes
A map of the site, showing ‘your’ trees
A bespoke certificate of dedication
The option of having your name on our ‘Sponsorship Page’ on our website, if you wish
A plaque with your chosen wording, installed near the trees
The satisfaction of contributing to the creation of precious habitat for the many species which rely on woodland
The joy of knowing you have planted two beautiful trees which will live for decades, enhancing the beauty of the countryside
The pride of ‘doing your bit’ to minimise the impact of climate change, by planting three trees which will absorb carbon dioxide for many years to come
(please note, you will not ‘own’ the trees)
