Our Tree Planting total so far

individual carbon offsetting

Since we started , we have planted 36,115 trees!

20,020 at Sylvan Nature Reserve, Kirk Hammerton

7,295 at Bank Woods, Summerbridge, Nidderdale

8,800 at Dougill Grange, Summerbridge, Nidderdale

Our Contribution to the Northern Forest

In 2018, we pledged to plant 100,000 trees in the next decade, as part of the Northern Forest. Since we made the pledge, there have been two planting seasons, and we have planted a total of 16,015 trees!

The chart shows our progress towards that goal. Each square represents 1,000 trees.

Ways to get involved

If you would like to help us reach our target, there are lots of ways to help!

We have an active volunteer group, who help with tree planting and tree maintenance and other tasks, depending on the season. Click here to read more about volunteering.

We also offer tree dedications, sponsored woodlands for businesses, and our carbon offsetting through tree planting. All of these support our project so that we can keep on planting trees.

We work with businesses to plant ‘A tree per order’ or ‘A tree per client’ – in fact we are happy to work with businesses to find a tree planting arrangement to suit them.
